For The First

by Meethil on August 15, 2009

Welcome, if you are here for the first time this will be an entertaining read.

It is sheer coincidence that the first post went up on 15th August. Those in India know its independence day. But unfortunately for this blog, it went dependent on that very day. Its now dependent on me for its survival. And I have added it to the count of my dependents. Whenever i fill-up a form asking me how many dependents i nurture, i will have to make a conscious effort not to forget this one. Well at least for some time to come.

All blogs are a liability. And so is this one. A blog is not an asset unless your ass slogs over it and makes it worth reading. Apart from being a good read, it should also attract people who come over sipping a cup of tea with one hand and clicking randomly with the other – much like flipping through a book. People just like you.

Now that you are here, enjoying your tea, you might as well enjoy the blog too. Its pretty and simple to navigate. You wont find useless jazz but interesting nuggets of information and opinion. If you want me to write about a particular topic, you can tell me by clicking on Tell Me where ever you see it.

Remember i love everything in this world. I also like making fun of everything i love. If i am writing about something or someone, be rest assured that i have nothing but the most sincere appreciation, respect, fondness, love, etc (which ever applicable) for the same. At all times, it is better to ask than to assume.

Most of my writing will help you form an opinion. It is good to share your thoughts by interacting with the website. If you would like your communication to be open to the world use the comments system. To send me a private message use the Tell Me form (mention the post or subject you are referring to).

If you have found your way here you obviously are not an internet dud. But for those who are, i feel obliged to remind them – If you would like to return to this website in the future it is advisable that you bookmark it or add it to your favourites. If you need spoon feeding subscribe to the RSS feed.

Enough of reading the first post. You better move on and read the more recent ones.
